ART BASEL MIAMI BEACH 2025

Art Basel Miami Beach anchors the week with its 23rd edition, bringing together 285 galleries from 40 countries, including 23 first-time exhibitors. As detailed in the 2025 Press Dossier, this year’s show continues to set the tone for the Americas with museum-quality works and ambitious presentations across five major sectors:

Galleries
The fair’s central sector showcases leading international galleries presenting historical masterpieces, cross-generational dialogues, new commissions, and rare works pulled directly from private estates and collections.

Nova
A platform for galleries debuting new works—often created within the last three years—Nova highlights experimental, future-facing practices and artists exploring conceptual or material shifts.

Positions
Focused solely on emerging voices, this sector features solo booths that offer collectors and curators a direct line to rising talent worldwide.

Survey
Dedicated to art-historical projects, Survey spotlights artists whose practices shaped contemporary art pre-2000, with presentations that offer contextual depth and rediscovered legacies.

Meridians
Curated by Yasmil Raymond, Meridians brings large-scale installations, monumental sculpture, and performance works to the Grand Ballroom. The dossier’s images feature towering structures and immersive environments that expand the fair beyond booth format.

Meanwhile, Conversations returns with panels featuring artists, curators, cultural theorists, and institutional leaders exploring the intersections of politics, technology, community, and global artistic practice.
