The Untitled Space has announced a Solo Exhibition Open Call for Spring/Summer 2026. Located in the heart of the Tribeca Arts District, The Untitled Space has been a vital platform for contemporary artists since 2015, and is now offering an incredible opportunity for a talented artist to showcase their work on an international stage. 

A Unique Platform for Emerging and Established Artists
The selected artist will have their work presented in an exclusive solo exhibition at the gallery, offering unparalleled exposure to collectors, art lovers, and media worldwide. The exhibition will be promoted across all platforms, including the gallery’s website, social media channels, and partner sites, reaching over 500,000 viewers globally.

In addition to the in-person exhibition, the artist will also receive online coverage and a dedicated article in The Untitled Magazine. Press outreach to international art and culture magazines will further elevate the exhibition’s visibility. The artist will also be featured in a digital exhibition catalogue that will be distributed to collectors and patrons.

2nd Place Winner: Online Solo Show
For those who are not selected for the in-person exhibition, The Untitled Space will award an Online Solo Show to the runner-up, offering continued exposure and a platform to present their work to a global audience.

All submissions will be considered for future opportunities with The Untitled Space, including group shows and special projects. Whether you’re an emerging artist looking for your first solo show or an established artist seeking broader exposure, this open call provides a unique opportunity to showcase your work in one of New York City’s most prominent contemporary art galleries.

Eligibility
The open call is open to all artists, both national and international, working across all ages, genders, and visual mediums. 

Exhibition Details:
The exhibition will take place in the Spring/Summer 2026 and will be scheduled in coordination with the awarded artist. The gallery will work directly with the artist to select the final works for the exhibition, ensuring that the show is a collaborative and rewarding experience.

Gallery Space:
The Untitled Space offers approximately 1,400 square feet of exhibition space, including over 110 feet of linear wall space, as well as pedestals, projectors, and 4K monitors for digital displays.

The gallery will cover all expenses related to the opening reception, exhibition marketing, staffing, and venue costs. The selected artist will receive full support to ensure their exhibition is a success.

To apply, submit your artwork images, artist biography, CV, artist statement, and any other relevant materials through The Untitled Space’s application portal. Be sure to meet the submission guidelines for image format and file size to ensure your application is processed.

ABOUT THE UNTITLED SPACE

The Untitled Space is a contemporary art gallery situated in the heart of the Tribeca Arts District, in a historic building on Lispenard Street. Founded in 2015 by Indira Cesarine, the gallery is dedicated to presenting boundary-pushing, innovative exhibitions. The gallery features both emerging and established artists who explore conceptual frameworks and cutting-edge ideologies through a variety of media, including painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography, video, and performance art. Robinson Jr., Tabitha Whitley, Tom Smith, Loren Erdrich, Kat Toronto (aka Miss Meatface), Katie Commodore, Giulia Grillo (aka Petite Doll), Jeanette Hayes, Grace Graupe-Pillard, and Robin Tewes.

The gallery has also presented celebrated group exhibitions such as “UPRISE 2025”, “REBEL”, “INNOVATE”, “UNRAVELED: Confronting The Fabric of Fiber Art”, “BODY BEAUTIFUL”, and “IRL: Investigating Reality”. Other major exhibitions include “SECRET GARDEN,” “SHE INSPIRES,” and public art projects including “FUTURE VISION” and “Art4Equality x Life, Liberty & The Pursuit of Happiness,” in collaboration with SaveArtSpace. Additionally, the gallery has presented special projects at SPRING/BREAK Art Show, including “EDEN” and “(HOTEL) XX”, as well as internationally recognized shows “UPRISE/ANGRY WOMEN” and “ONE YEAR OF RESISTANCE.”
