New Zealand brother-sister duo Broods received “a sort of Swedes-doing-tropical bounce” remix to their breakout hit ‘Bridges’ this week from New York City band Astr. Formed in early 2013, Broods (A.K.A. Caleb and Georgia Nott) released their self-penned, self-titled, 6-track EP in January and are steadily climbing their way up in 2014. The electro-pop EP was recorded and produced in New Zealand by Grammy Award winning producer Joel Little (Lorde/Pure Heroine). Broods recently signed a record deal with Capital Records in the U.S and plan to release their debut album later this year.

The band’s debut U.S. tour began April 30th, with dates for San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York City already sold out.

Their debut EP is available now on iTunes. Check out the ‘Bridges’/Astr remix and tour dates below. Tickets to select shows available here.
