CHANEL AND TRIBECA FESTIVAL CELEBRATE ART, FILM, AND CULTURAL COLLABORATION AT THE 19TH ANNUAL TRIBECA FESTIVAL ARTISTS DINNER

CHANEL hosted the 19th Annual Tribeca Festival Artists Dinner on June 8 at Tribeca Grill in New York City, bringing together filmmakers, artists, and cultural figures to celebrate the 2026 Tribeca Festival Artist Awards Program.

The evening honored a curated group of visual artists who contributed original artwork to the award-winning filmmakers of the 2026 Tribeca Festival. The Artist Awards Program recognizes the intersection between creative fields while celebrating New York City’s enduring spirit of cultural innovation.

This year’s contributing artists included Bony Ramirez, Brendan Fernandes, Carrie Mae Weems, Hank Willis Thomas, Jason Bard Yarmosky, Joshua Woods, Kiki Smith, Soull & Dynasty Ogun, Tavares Strachan, and Tosh Basco. Curator Zoe Lukov led the selection of the participating artists and their work.

The evening also marked the Tribeca Festival’s 25th anniversary with a surprise toast from Robert De Niro honoring Tribeca co-founder Jane Rosenthal. During his remarks, De Niro shared:

“Jane is a tough business leader, but she’s also a patron of the arts. It comes so naturally to her because she appreciates what artists do. Jane understands the soul of the artist because she has the soul of an artist. She’s the perfect leader of the Tribeca Festival and our production company because she’s a born storyteller.”

Additional tributes to Rosenthal were shared through video messages from Leonardo DiCaprio, Bradley Cooper, Kathryn Bigelow, Spike Lee, Leslie Linka Glatter, and Darren Aronofsky.

Guests at the dinner included Robert De Niro, Jane Rosenthal, Sofia Coppola, Teyana Taylor, Sarah Pidgeon, Ayo Edebiri, Whitney Peak, Katie Holmes, Billy Crystal, Keke Palmer, Whoopi Goldberg, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Olivia Munn and John Mulaney, Molly Gordon, Bill Skarsgård, Finneas and Claudia Sulewski, Seth Meyers, Camila Morrone and Cole Bennett, Grace Gummer, Rashida Jones, Rosie Perez, Alessandro Nivola, Alex Consani, Anok Yai, Chase Sui Wonders, Cole Escola, Inde Navarrette, Arianna Huffington, A.V. According to the festival, the Artist Awards Program is rooted in Tribeca’s founding mission to help revitalize New York City’s artistic spirit following the events of September 11. The program celebrates the intersection of creative disciplines while reflecting a tradition of supporting artistic vision, community, and collaboration between filmmakers and visual artists.
