Charli XCX has announced the release of her sophomore commercial album, Sucker, arriving everywhere Monday, December 15th. The album, which includes new single, “Break The Rules” as well as the top 10 smash, “Boom Clap,” is available now for pre-order and exclusively on iTunes. Her first album, 14,was not commercially released; her debut commercial album, True Romance was officially released on April 12, 2013 and since then, she has become queen of the catchy pop hook.
Born Charlotte Aitchison, Charli XCX reached mainstream success after her collaboration with Iggy Azalea on the track “Fancy,” an inescapable hit that took control of the airwaves. “Fancy” has been nominated for two Grammys: Record of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. Starting out as a songwriter, she helped write the pop sensation, “I Love It,” by Icona Pop. Then she released “True Romance,” which peaked at number 85 on the UK charts.

This Saturday, December 13th, she’ll perform on Saturday Night Live, and she is also scheduled to perform at 6 Jingle Ball Concerts at Madison Square Garden on the 12th, which goes through Tampa’s 93.3 FLZ on December 22nd. 2015 will see her accompanying Katy Perry as special guest on the European leg of her “Prismatic Tour,” followed by her own eight city headline tour of the United Kingdom.
