CHARLI XCX DROPS “WINK WINK” AND ANNOUNCES “MUSIC, FASHION, FILM” TOUR
Charli XCX is having a moment — or rather, an entire era. This week, the pop star released her new single “Wink Wink,” accompanied by a music video directed by Aidan Zamiri, while also confirming a run of North American arena dates for her upcoming “Music, Fashion, Film” Tour.
“Wink Wink” is the latest preview of Charli’s forthcoming album “Music, Fashion, Film,” joining previously released tracks “SS26” and “Rock Music.” The album arrives on July 24, and its artwork—shot by Zamiri—features an unexpected trio: musician John Cale, designer Marc Jacobs, and filmmaker Martin Scorsese.
The single lands during a whirlwind week for Charli, who was in Paris for the Saint Laurent Men’s Fashion Show, co-hosted the official after-party alongside Madonna, and took part in the second installment of her “In Conversation” series with photographer Petra Collins.
Billed as the “Music, Fashion, Film” Tour and promoted by Live Nation, Charli’s North American arena run kicks off in September and stretches through late October, with special guest underscores supporting on every date. The tour includes back-to-back nights at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center and Los Angeles’ Kia Forum.

Notably, the tour will introduce “Angel Tickets”—a limited allotment of $20 tickets that will go on sale in August. Sold in pairs, seat locations will be revealed on the day of each show. A limited number of charity tickets will also be available in the first five rows at every venue, with 50 percent of net proceeds benefiting the Transgender Law Center.

It’s a fitting moment for an artist who has spent her career defying easy categorization. Charli XCX has long moved fluidly between pop’s experimental fringes and its commercial center, earning multiple BRIT and Grammy Awards while expanding her creative practice into fashion and film. Beyond music, she has acted, written, produced, and composed for projects with directors including Takashi Miike, Gregg Araki, and Cathy Yann.
With “Music, Fashion, Film” arriving next month and a major arena tour on the horizon, Charli continues to move effortlessly across music, fashion, and film, proving that her latest era is as ambitious as it is multifaceted.
