CHRISTIAN SIRIANO CHANNELS MARLENE DIETRICH WITH CINEMATIC GLAMOUR FOR SPRING/SUMMER 2026
On Friday, September 12th, 2025, Christian Siriano transformed the historic Macy’s Herald Square flagship into a cinematic runway spectacle, unveiling his Spring/Summer 2026 collection. The show paid homage to 1940s Hollywood icon Marlene Dietrich, whose gender-fluid style and commanding presence inspired a collection rich with sharp tailoring, sculptural gowns, and dramatic silhouettes. Siriano envisioned the presentation like a film shifting from black and white to technicolor, beginning with monochrome looks before exploding into vivid brights.

The audience matched the drama of the runway with a star-studded guest list including Oprah Winfrey, Whoopi Goldberg, Lizzo, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Patricia Clarkson, Gayle King, Jordan Roth, Adam Lambert, Heather Graham, Jonathan Van Ness, Natasha Rothwell, Brittany Broski, Slayyyter, Paige DeSorbo, Bronwyn Newport, Coco Rocha, and DJ Ty Sunderland. Following the show, the celebration continued at the newly unveiled W Union Square, housed in a landmark Beaux-Arts building.

Beyond his signature couture gowns, Siriano spotlighted a series of collaborations that electrified the runway. Humane World for Animals debuted with three cruelty-free custom looks emblazoned with their newly redesigned logo, seamlessly blending advocacy with style. Siriano also partnered with Capri Sun to reimagine a beloved Y2K DIY trend into a limited-edition “Pouch Purse,” which hit the runway before its exclusive drop online.

The presentation also marked a new milestone in Siriano’s ongoing partnership with Macy’s, celebrating I.N.C.’s 40th anniversary with a bold capsule collection curated by the designer. As part of the collaboration, Siriano designed 40 limited-edition blazers and a couture gown, which will be auctioned in support of the CFDA.

With beauty direction by MAC’s Gilbert Soliz and hair by TRESemmé’s Lacy Redman, the show captured Siriano’s unmatched ability to blend old-world sophistication with modern drama. His cinematic Spring/Summer 2026 collection not only transported guests into the world of Marlene Dietrich but also solidified his place as one of fashion’s great storytellers.
