The annual Guggenheim International Gala hosted by Dior will bring R&B singer Jorja Smith for their pre-party celebrations. Taking place on Wednesday, November 14, the evening features a DJ set by AMRIT, an open bar, after-hours access to the exhibition Hilma af Klint: Paintings for the Future, and a special performance by Smith. This one-night-only event launches the 2018 Guggenheim International Gala.
A celebration of the Edmond de Rothschild Foundation and visionary philanthropists Dimitris Daskalopoulos and Alice Walton, the Guggenheim International Gala is the museum’s signature annual event, raising significant funds to continue their world-renowned exhibition and education programs.

The GIG Pre-Party raises funds in support of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation, benefiting the museum’s general operating fund, which helps to present a dynamic array of internationally acclaimed exhibitions, offer a comprehensive range of educational programs, and maintain the unparalleled collections of modern and contemporary artworks as well as the facilities within the museum’s landmark building.
