On February 25th, Massimo Giorgetti took to the runway for the second time for Emilio Pucci. Returning to the roots of the brand, it was clear Giorgetti drew inspiration from the ski-slopes. He presented a collection of wearable active wear with bold colorful prints and light fabrics. The line-up included over-sized sweaters, zip-neck velvet pullovers and puffers printed with technicolor mountain landscapes. Loose fitted print dresses, silk shirts with a trailing sleeve and pencil skirts added to the overall feeling of jet-set glamour. Jumpsuits in bright reds, blues and blacks paired with double-breasted coats lent a voluminous silhouette to the collection. A return to the ski-lodge aesthetic with a mash up of bold prints, light fabrics and colorful coats, the collection left one longing for a winter-wonderland vacation.
