The second annual Firefly Music Festival will be held this upcoming June 21-23 with headlining acts such as the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.
Produced by Red Frog Events, the first Firefly Music Festival was held on July 20-22, 2012 in Dover, Delaware. It will once again be held in the Woodlands of Dover International Speedway. This 87 acre festival ground will host over 71 bands at the 2013 venue in each of it’s four stages: The Porch Stage, The Lawn Stage, The Backyard Stage, and The Firefly Stage. Red Frog Events created this festival “with the hopes of having an ‘open-air festival on the East Coast with plenty of outdoor camping, much like the Bonnaroo music festival in Tennessee.'” With such an impressive lineup of artists scheduled to perform, the Firefly Music Festival is definitely making a name for itself among other summer competitors.
