GET READY FOR THE 19TH ANNUAL HAMPTONS FINE ART FAIR THIS JULY
The 19th Annual Hamptons Fine Art Fair, taking place from July 10-13, 2025, at the Southampton Fairgrounds, promises to be more than just an art fair—it’s a cultural celebration set against the scenic backdrop of the Hamptons. Spanning 70,000 square feet of exhibit space across 17 bucolic acres, the fair is poised to showcase 135 galleries from over 20 countries. As the only international art fair in the Hamptons, it brings together global perspectives with works from some of the most revered names in the art world, along with emerging voices whose bold creativity is shaping the future of contemporary art.
Strategically located just minutes from Southampton Village’s bustling cultural scene, the fair invites attendees to explore a vast range of artistic mediums. Paintings, sculptures, photography, works on paper, and contemporary art objects will be on display, inviting a dynamic conversation between the past, present, and future of art. The fair is a space where traditional and contemporary forms of art collide, offering a platform for artists to be seen and for collectors to discover new voices while experiencing a curated selection of iconic works.

This year’s fair is not only about showcasing art—it’s also a tribute to the long-standing history and cultural significance of the Hamptons art community. One of the most poignant moments will be the induction of 100-year-old artist Ted Hartley into the Hamptons Artists Hall of Fame. Hartley, a former U.S. Olympian and Navy jet fighter pilot, will join other esteemed figures, such as William King and Tony Rosenthal, in being honored for their contribution to the local art landscape.
This celebration of legacy is beautifully complemented by the work of contemporary artists like Steve Tobin, whose monumental 11′ x 20′ sculpture will anchor the fair’s entrance. Tobin’s towering sculpture, valued at $400,000, exemplifies the fair’s commitment to bringing bold, boundary-pushing works to the forefront. The fair’s welcoming of first-time exhibitors, such as John S. Slattery, former CEO of GE Aviation, further demonstrates its growing role as a hub for new voices in the Hamptons’ art scene.
A central focus of the fair this year is the representation of both iconic masters and rising stars. Art collectors will have the opportunity to view works by household names such as Jean-Michel Basquiat, Alexander Calder, Keith Haring, and Andy Warhol, whose works remain foundational to the global art discourse. Yet, the fair is also dedicated to fostering new dialogues in art, with spotlighted artists like Ron Agam, Hunt Slonem, and Yigal Ozeri bringing a fresh, contemporary voice to the conversation.
As the fair expands, over 40 new galleries will debut at this year’s edition, pushing the boundaries of what we expect from art fairs. The inclusion of diverse galleries from global hubs such as Dubai, Israel, the Maldives, and Peru promises a rich, multi-layered experience for visitors, offering access to international artists who are shaping art scenes in their home countries.
In addition to this, the fair’s SculptureHamptons section will highlight the intersection of fine art and craft, with galleries showcasing collectible glass art, metalworks, ceramics, and woodturning. This section, hosted by the prestigious LongHouse Reserve, will offer a deeper dive into the artistic process and the intersection of sculpture with design.
In keeping with its tradition of offering unique and immersive experiences, this year’s fair will feature themed booths that will engage visitors with interactive and thought-provoking displays.
- Dripping in Style (Pollock Pavilion): In homage to Jackson Pollock, artist Mark Grimaldi will display a rare 1969 MGB sports car painted in a replica of Pollock’s iconic 1953 work “Convergence.” This fusion of art and design will highlight Pollock’s influence on contemporary visual culture, blurring the lines between fine art and automotive design.
- The Real Surreal: Presented by the Museum of Modern Renaissance, this exhibit will showcase a surrealist collection from Nicholas Shaplyko and Ekaterina Sorokina, whose museum in Somerville, Massachusetts, has earned international acclaim for its stunning murals and mythological themes. The exhibit will offer a captivating journey into their imaginative world, where ancient myths and contemporary art meet.
- Peruvian Female Contemporary Artists Rising: This curated collection from BLOC Art will introduce six innovative Peruvian artists exploring contemporary issues such as ecology, gender, and the Peruvian landscape. Artists including Lolo Ostia and Patica Jenkins Gibson will present vibrant works that reflect the social and environmental challenges facing Peru today, offering a fresh and urgent perspective on Latin American art.
- Rising Stars from Down Under: A dynamic collection of works by three Australian female artists—Elizabeth Langreiter, Marisa Mu, and Lara Scolari—will bring the energy and vibrancy of Australian contemporary art to the Hamptons. These artists represent a new wave of Australian art, with their bold, emotional, and organic forms captivating collectors and art lovers alike, making a powerful statement on the global art stage.
As much as the fair is about art, it’s also about creating an environment where guests can indulge their senses. The Outdoor Sculpture Garden will offer visitors a chance to experience some of the best local cuisine, including the famed Shinnecock Lobster Roll. With two large indoor bars serving a diverse selection of wines and spirits, the fair provides a relaxing atmosphere where guests can reflect on the art they’ve seen, engage in lively discussions, and enjoy the Hamptons’ summer vibes.
More than just an art fair, the 19th Annual Hamptons Fine Art Fair is an opportunity to experience the Hamptons as a cultural epicenter—a place where art converges with local tradition, and where both established and emerging artists have the chance to engage with new audiences. With over 15,000 expected attendees and an expanded focus on both primary and secondary market art, the fair provides a platform for discovery, dialogue, and inspiration.
