New York’s favorite festival’s day-by-day lineup has just been released by Founder’s Entertainment and the spread looks promising. This year’s Governor’s Ball takes the best of Indie Rock, Hip Hop, Americana, Electronica, Pop and Dance, and packs it all into a crowd-pleasing 3-day weekend that benefits both music fans and charity. This year’s headliners include Outkast, Jack White, Vampire Weekend, The Strokes, Phoenix, Skrillex, Axwell ^ Ingrosso, and Tv On the Radio, and will also feature artists Foster the People, Interpol, Julian Casablancas, Disclosure, Damian Marley, Grimes, Broken Bells, James Blake, Empire of the Sun, Damian Albarn, Spoon, Childish Gambino, The Kills, J.Cole, and many more.

Governors Ball will feature Outkast’s only show in the NYC market, the worldwide debut of Axwell ^ Ingrosso from the renowned Swedish House Mafia, as well as The Strokes first live performance (and only show currently scheduled) since 2011.  In a nod to the vibrant music scene in the beautiful city Governors Ball gratefully calls home, this year’s lineup also includes a large contingent of established and up and coming local NYC artists, including among others, Sleigh Bells, Lucius, Haerts, Skaters, and Bleachers.

The Governors Ball 2014 will partner with Answer the Call, a non-profit organization that assists the families of New York City first responders killed in the line of duty. Today, the Benefit Fund serves over 600 families of fallen New York City Firefighters, Police Officers, Port Authority Police, and EMS workers.  To learn more about the Benefit Fund visit A portion of all ticket sales will go towards supporting Answer the Call.
