Gucci started Milan Fashion Week off with a bang. On February 24th, Alessandro Michele sent seventy loud and lovely looks down the runway. For the famed house’s Fall/Winter collection, the designer mixed his wide-ranging influences (street style, the 1970s and 80s, the Renaissance, and Catherine de Medici) into a madcap mash-up of playful power suits, brocade coats, rainbow ruffles, colorful fur and embroidered evening dresses.
As if Michele didn’t fit enough into one collection, certain garments and accessories also featured a collaboration with artist, Trouble Andrew AKA GucciGhost.
