New York City’s creative community came together on June 16 for Blue Ball 2026, the inaugural fundraising gala presented by The Blue Jacket Fashion Show. Held at Nebula in Times Square, the evening supported Man Cave Health, a nonprofit dedicated to advancing men’s health awareness, education, and early detection.
The event honored Blue Jacket Fashion Show founder and fashion designer Frederick Anderson for his contributions to fashion and philanthropy while bringing together leaders from the worlds of entertainment, fashion, media, sports, and the arts in support of an important cause.
Guests enjoyed live performances from Lion Babe and dance music icon Crystal Waters, alongside music from DJ and producer Young Paris, creating an energetic atmosphere that blended celebration with fundraising.
Among those in attendance were A-Trak, Chromeo, Blu DeTiger, Charity Lawson, Kelly Bensimon, Nigel Barker, Ramona Singer, Mario Cantone, Alex Garfin, Ty Hunter, James Aguiar, Mike Woods, Carlos Greer, and The Untitled Magazine’s founder and editor-in-chief, Indira Cesarine, and many others from New York’s creative and philanthropic communities.
Blue Ball marks the latest initiative from The Blue Jacket Fashion Show, founded in 2016 by fashion designer Frederick Anderson and Laura Miller, which has become known for using fashion as a platform to raise awareness around men’s health issues, particularly the importance of preventative care and early cancer detection. The signature event blends fashion, entertainment, sports, and healthcare to normalize conversations around men’s health and early detection. The annual New York City runway show benefits the nonprofit ZERO Prostate Cancer, with proceeds supporting testing, advocacy, and education to reduce health disparities.
As its first standalone Blue Ball fundraiser, the evening successfully combined live entertainment, fashion, philanthropy, and community, reinforcing the growing role creative industries can play in supporting public health initiatives.
