IVY PARK

We all know you want to sing like Beyoncé, dance like Beyoncé, live like Beyoncé, and just about be Beyoncé and you’re in luck. Those dreams are coming true because now you can workout like Beyoncé -although we can’t guarantee it will get you her bod. Enter Ivy Park into your lives, an activewear brand that was created by Beyoncé herself and Sir Philip Green. With 12 partners and over fifty countries globally, the line will be available online and in-store at major retailers such as TopShop, Nordstrom, Zalando, Net-a-Porter, Selfridges, DJ Sports, Namshi, Zalora, The Iconic, Flue Store, Myer, and Hudson’s Bay. Though you might be seeking out the closest location to hunt down the merchandise right now, save yourself some waiting: the collection will be available on April 14, 2016.

This joint venture, partnership, and stand-alone brand shouldn’t be confused with a collaboration, as was previously rumored back in 2014. Beyoncé has said, “Sir Philip has created some amazing collaborations, but I wanted a partnership and stand-alone brand.” Why a work out line? Beyoncé tells all. “When I’m working and rehearsing I live in my work out clothes, but I didn’t feel there was an athletic brand that spoke to me. My goal with Ivy Park is to push the boundaries of athletic wear and to support and inspire women who understand that beauty is more than your physical appearance. True beauty is in the health of our minds, hearts, and bodies.” Preach Beyoncé, women everywhere are bowing down to Queen Bey, who continued, “I am mentally strong and I wanted to create a brand that made other women feel the same way.”

As for Sir Philip Green, the lucky partner behind the brand, he has said, “I want to thank Beyoncé for trusting me and our company as her partner for Ivy Park. It has been an incredible 18 months experience working closely with her and her team to create the Ivy Park brand.” Green continues that, “Her engagement, out many meetings and her continued involvement in the range development has enabled us to deliver some wonderful products. It has been great fun, exciting and hugely memorable.”
