The ever-multifaceted James Franco and Gucci have collaborated again in a new video short promoting the designer’s spring eyewear campaign. Franco takes both directing and starring roles in the the film, appearing alongside Italian supermodel Natalia Bonifacci. The retro-inspired advertisement, entitled Techno Color Sunglasses, was shot at the iconic Chateau Marmont hotel in West Hollywood and features the duo sporting Gucci’s flashy shades as they seductively revel in Hollywood glamour.
Franco has had an ongoing relationship with the Italian fashion house beginning in 2009. He served as the face of their Made to Measure fragrance campaign and also produced the 2013 documentary “The Director” starring Gucci creative director Frida Giannini.
