Utilizing different layering techniques —pairing ruffled fabrics with translucent lace— John Rocha was able to create whimsical and elegant outfits, with texture and color being of paramont priority. Inspired by the Château la Coste—a glass arts center in the south of France that Rocha himself is designing—the line focused on a similar blend of color and design, with models strutting down the runway with illusion-heavy patterns and artfully frayed dresses, all continuing Rocha’s imaginative layering methods. Floral patterns used for his simpler outfits were effective, but couldn’t compete with his more elaborate styles, all of which stunned attendees.
