After speculation that Kanye West would release both his latest album and his newest Yeezy collection on February 11th, the news has been confirmed according to media sources. West will debut Yeezy Season Three, as well as his long-anticipated album, Wave (previously titled Swish), to the public during New York Fashion Week. Similar to the livestream of Yeezy Season Two, both the collection and the album will be shown in real-time at theaters around the world and at New York’s Madison Square Garden on February 11th at 4pm.

In the past, aggression to purchase Kanye West tickets has resulted in quickly sold out shows, fashion lines, and collaborations with multiple brands. Despite being a controversial public figure, his fan base has remained strong. Through West’s wife, Kim Kardashian West, it had been revealed that both Yeezy Season Three was in the works and that more colors of the sold out Yeezy Boosts 350s are on the way. West himself also released the track list for the much-awaited album over the weekend.
In what has become a classic Kanye West move, the fashion week schedule has been disrupted and not everyone is pleased. Designers Marissa Webb and Adam Selman, whose shows have been on the coveted fashion week schedule for weeks, have changed their start times after West’s news. Though the fashion calendar gets put together with much consideration to timing of shows so that designers can maximize friends, celebrities, and press presence at their shows, West seems not to care about whose runway-walking toes he is stepping on.
Tickets for Kanye West’s livestream can be found online, while an updated schedule reveals new start times for Webb and Selman. If there’s one thing that always remains the same, it’s that New York Fashion Week isn’t complete with cabs waiting to speed show-goers from one venue to the next!
