KATY PERRY’S “THE LIFETIMES TOUR – LIVE FROM PARIS” HEADS TO CINEMAS WORLDWIDE
After premiering at the 2026 Tribeca Festival, “Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour – Live from Paris” is headed to cinemas worldwide this September, giving audiences across 70 countries the opportunity to experience the pop star’s 2025 world tour on the big screen. Distributed by Trafalgar Releasing, the concert film will launch in cinemas and IMAX beginning September 2 for a limited theatrical run.
Filmed across two sold-out performances in Paris during The Lifetimes Tour in November 2025, the 132-minute feature transforms Perry’s large-scale live production into an immersive cinematic experience. Captured with a 60-camera setup, the film places audiences at the center of the action through sweeping aerial shots, dynamic stage perspectives, and exclusive behind-the-scenes bonus content created for the theatrical release.

The release includes screenings in standard cinemas and IMAX across 70 countries, with exclusive IMAX previews in the United States on opening day and screenings at 150 cinemas throughout the United Kingdom. Tickets go on sale July 30 ahead of the film’s worldwide debut on September 2.
The concert film captures Perry performing many of the songs that defined her career, including “Teenage Dream,” “California Gurls,” “Dark Horse,” “Roar,” “Firework,” and “The One That Got Away.” Alongside elaborate staging, theatrical visuals, and gravity-defying choreography, the production highlights the scale of The Lifetimes Tour, which reached more than one million fans across 91 shows in 23 countries spanning five continents. The tour generated more than $134 million in ticket sales and included six performances in China, where appearances by Western artists remain relatively rare. It also supported charitable organizations through donations benefiting both the Firework Foundation in the United States and Music Venue Trust in the United Kingdom.

The theatrical release arrives at an interesting moment in Perry’s career. While her recent studio releases have received a mixed critical response, interest in her earlier catalog has remained strong, with songs including “The One That Got Away” experiencing renewed popularity on streaming platforms in 2026. According to the announcement, the track has reached Spotify’s Global Top 50, helping fuel renewed interest in Perry’s catalog while contributing to more than 91 million monthly Spotify listeners and over 10 million TikTok followers.
“Katy Perry’s Lifetimes Tour was larger than life and this film captures every ounce of the concert—reimagined to feel as if you’re at a tour stop,” said Kymberli Frueh, EVP of Content Acquisitions and Programming at Trafalgar Releasing. “This cinema release gives new and returning KatyCats a chance to experience the moment, the way it was meant to be seen—with other fans, on the biggest screen possible.”
Producer Daniel E. Catullo III added, “More than a million fans experienced this tour live, and now millions more will have the opportunity to see it like never before on the big screen.” He also noted the enthusiastic response to the film’s Tribeca Festival premiere, where Perry joined dancers, musicians, and fans during the screening.
Directed by Paul Dugdale and produced by Daniel E. Catullo III for 10 Lives Studios, “Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour – Live from Paris” premiered as part of the Tribeca Festival’s Spotlight+ program. More than a traditional concert film, the production offers fans an immersive look at Perry’s ambitious 2025 world tour, bringing one of pop music’s biggest live productions to cinema audiences worldwide.
