According to Nielsen, 20.7 million people tuned in on April 19th to one of 30 different television networks to watch “One World: Together At Home,” the concert special organized by Global Citizen to celebrate the heroes who have risen up during the COVID-19 pandemic. The aim of the special was not only to honor the medical workers and others working hard during the crisis, but also to spread awareness of proper social distancing practices and raise money for the World Health Organization’s Solidarity Response Fund.
