LAYER ZERO DEBUTS IN NEW YORK WITH LAUNCH PARTY FEATURING BROOKS NADER, KIANA ALEXIS, AND CANDACE BUSHNELL
Layer Zero made its official debut on March 3, 2026, with a launch celebration held at the WSA Building in New York City’s Financial District. The new shapewear brand welcomed an eclectic mix of models, creatives, and cultural figures for an evening of cocktails, music, and immersive brand activations.
Among the attendees were supermodel and television personality Brooks Nader, supermodel Kiana Alexis, author and television producer Candace Bushnell, actor Hunter Kohl, and DJs Eva Vos, NIKS, and UNTITLED’s Indira Cesarine. The event also welcomed Elliot Brakebill, DJ Dovemother, along with fashion insiders and industry guests gathered to celebrate the brand’s entrance into the intimates market.
Hosted at 161 Water Street, the event transformed the sixth floor of the WSA Building into a vibrant social hub. Guests enjoyed light bites, cocktails, and music by DJ NIKS, while exploring interactive activations and exclusive gifting moments tied to the launch of the brand’s debut collection.
Layer Zero is the latest venture from Carlos Bethencourt, founder and president of Layer Zero and the performance apparel brand 32 Degrees. The brand introduces a comfort-driven approach to shapewear and intimates, designed with an emphasis on ease of movement, breathable performance fabrics, and accessible price points.
