Liu Fang’s pieces for the spring 2013 line were unlike any other, toying with the female form by crafting skeletal pieces that, when worn, gave new meaning to “you are what you wear.” Knitted looks in off whites and gorgeous cremes took over the first half of the show, with white powder on each model’s face and a high hair bun to truly exaggerate the scene. While the line lacked color, the dynamics of the actual visual—woman after woman walking in what looked like the couture version of their endoskeleton made it highly unique.
