Louis Vuitton’s spring/summer 2013 line did not disappoint the masses that surrounded the catwalk, with vivacious color and sharp symmetry (a carry-over from New York) dominated. Creative director Marc Jacobs did what he does best, and toyed with the female silhouette with thematically intense yellow stripes that highlighted every models’ physique and frame. The pallet stuck to browns, black & whites and canary yellows, with an emphasis on Mod-stylings (checker-print), and a throwback to how the 60s were reappropriated during the 1990s with a lot of bare midriff showing.
