Malan Breton unveiled his Spring/Summer 2026 womenswear and menswear collections during New York Fashion Week with “The Age of the Machine, The Heart of Humanity,” a dramatic presentation held at the Léman Ballroom in New York City. Seamlessly fusing Broadway spectacle with high fashion, the show unfolded as a four-act narrative exploring the delicate balance between technological innovation and human emotion. Benefiting the Alzheimer’s charity CaringKind, the production reflected Breton’s commitment to compassion, creativity, and storytelling.

Each act of the show—The Heart, Time, Transformation, and Legacy—was brought to life through couture craftsmanship and dramatic performance by two Tony Award-winning Broadway stars who walked the runway as living characters in Breton’s script-driven vision. The collection celebrated the tension between the mechanical and the human spirit, where silks, brocades, and precision tailoring met futuristic silhouettes and architectural details. The Heart paid tribute to caregivers through Breton’s partnership with CaringKind, while Time, created in collaboration with King Seiko, embodied precision and the passage of moments. Transformation reflected reinvention and resilience, produced with Wigs.com and legendary hairstylist Vivienne Mackinder, and Legacy—a collaboration with SohoMuse—reimagined the grandeur of the Gilded Age for the modern era.

Breton also made his debut as a composer, presenting an original orchestral and electronic score he wrote for the runway, creating a hauntingly beautiful dialogue between mechanical rhythm and emotional depth. His music underscored the entire performance, blurring the lines between fashion, theater, and sound.

The event drew an illustrious guest list, including Jessica Pimentel, Danny Burstein, Mêlle Mel, Priscilla Lopez, Baayork Lee, Lucia Hwong Gordon, Jean Shafiroff, Consuelo Vanderbilt-Costin, UNTITLED’s founder Indira Cesarine, and other notable figures from Broadway and the arts. Sponsors and partners included King Seiko, SohoMuse, Wigs.com, Back of Bottle, and Odilis Lashes, with hair by Back of Bottle and beauty by Odilis Lashes.
