“MIDNIGHT AT THE MET” LIGHTS UP CHELSEA WITH GLAMOUR AND FANTASY
Leesa Rowland and Larry Wohl once again raised the bar for New York’s Halloween season with their highly anticipated annual celebration, this year themed, “Midnight at the Met.” The extravagant event transformed Chelsea Industrial into a surreal playground where art, couture, and performance collided.
Inspired by the opulent spirit of the Met Gala, guests were encouraged to “dress like it’s your last day of your life,” arriving in avant-garde, couture-inspired looks that turned the night into a living, breathing exhibition of creativity. Designer Marc Bouwer crafted Rowland’s show-stopping “Fire” ensemble, paired against his own “Ice” costume—a visual duet that set the tone for the evening.

More than 300 guests reveled under moody, golden lights, surrounded by dramatic art installations, immersive performance pieces, and unexpected theatrical flourishes. Highlights included a rousing live performance by Luke K as “Cher”, an interactive live painting that evolved with the dancer’s movements, and a suite of sculptural works and multimedia vignettes that transformed the venue into an experiential dreamscape.
Notable guests included Marc Bouwer, Pedro Oberto, Hank Stampfl, Ramona Singer, Nicole Noonan, Steven Knobel, Gianni Musso, Stewart F. Lane, Bonnie Comley, Cindy Guyer, Niki Haskell, Jose Castelo Branco, Kyle Farmery, Alan Wilzig, Sir Ivan, Peter Thomas Roth, Sharon Bush, UNTITLED’s Indira Cesarine, among many others who added to the night’s glittering atmosphere.

The event featured an impressive lineup of creative collaborators and sponsors, including BIATCH® Tequila, DJ Deroza, Luminae Productions, Perfect Serve NYC, Posy Flowers NYC, and Revel Rouge, who brought Rowland’s vision of theatrical glamour to life with expert precision.
Leesa’s full look was created by Marc Bouwer, with hair by Marco Maranghello and makeup by Nellie.
