Missoni is launching its new Missoni Eau de Parfum, the first Missoni women’s fragrance made and distributed by Euroitalia.  The esteemed brand is breaking with tradition yet again by launching the fragrance in a fun, unconventional way. Angela Missoni tapped Oscar winner Paolo Sorrentino to direct the soon-to-be-released commercial which tells of a fragrance dedicated to a sensual and exuberant woman whose femininity truly stands out. International top model and actress Elisa Sednaoui is this fabulous woman and the face of the fragrance.  She stars in the commercial and brings the only touch of colour to the cast thanks to an iconic Missoni dress.  Only after she is sprayed with the new fragrance, does she dance in a fun, sensual way, winking at the viewer who is transfixed by seeing reality turned upside down yet again. In this way the Missoni woman will be presented in a reality that breaks from traditional representations, amazing the viewer by showing the protagonist in all of her beauty – albeit in a completely unexpected role.

Angela Missoni took inspiration from the art of Venetian blown glass to create a unique glass bottle in shades of purple, fuchsia and green, blending together to result in a precious object with a contemporary and timeless design, just like Missoni’s unmistakable style.

The fragrance notes consists of delicate jasmine and sensual mahonia, embraced by captivating notes of wood and tonka bean, resulting in a perfume that is unique and refined. The subtlety and joie de vivre of Italian citruses complete the harmonious balance of this fragrance, representing the various shades of a woman’s soul.

The fragrance’s debut is expected to take place in mid-November. After its launch in Italy, the fragrance will move on to Harrods London on 22 November 2015, and will be available throughout Europe, the Middle East, America and the rest of the world in 2016.
