MTV and the Goss-Michael Foundation will hold their fourth annual MTV RE:DEFINE – the world premiere art exhibition, auction and fundraiser gala – on April 10 during Dallas Art Fair week. Online bidding launched on Paddle8 on March 27 – and will go on leading up to/simultaneous with the live bidding at the event.

The auction features over 100 works from artists Michael Craig-Martin, Cindy Sherman, Damien Hirst, Gérard Rancinan, Richard Phillips, Julian Schnabel, Tom Sachs, Justin Adian, Donald Baechler, Amy Baldwin, Billy Childish, Phil Collins, Zoe Crosher, Matthew Darbyshire, Ian Davenport, Angela de la Cruz, Jeremy Deller, Dzine (Carlos Rolón), Elmgreen + Dragset, Ryan Gander, Mona Hatoum, Paul Hosking, Rachel Howard, Brian Kokoska, Jason Matthew Lee, Landon Metz, Nate Lowman, Richard Patterson, Arthur Peña, Scott Reeder, Leif Ritchey, Tyson Reeder, David Salle, Josh Smith, Chris Succo, Mario Testino, Wolfgang Tillmans, Tom of Finland, Rosemary Trockel, Adriana Varejao, Andrew Zientek among others.

Last year’s auction raised over $2 million dollars for the Dallas Contemporary and MTV Staying Alive Foundation, an international content-producing and grant-giving organization dedicated to stopping the spread of HIV among young people.

This year’s MTV RE:DEFINE will also honor Michael Craig-Martin – the godfather of British conceptual art. Coinciding with RE:DEFINE, Craig-Martin will launch his new memoir/instructional guide On Being An Artist at this year’s Dallas Art Fair (April 9-10). In addition, The Goss-Michael Foundation will work with Craig-Martin and Gagosian Gallery to present 10 works of art in public spaces in Dallas from the beginning of April through May 2015.

The evening will also feature artists Dan Colen and Nate Lowman as music curators, alongside a special performance by Lizzie Bougatsos & Sadie Laska of I.U.D. Check out some of the artworks featured in the auction below:
