The fall/winter 2016 Mulberry collection combines both street sense and street style in a completely wearable, yet also trendy line. Creative director Johnny Coca created coats and capes were created in wool fabric with military accents. Colored in classic navy, olive and plum, with silver detailing, the outerwear was very British. The tailoring was done to perfection, especially on chic trousers, adding to the feel of the classic collection. Blouses were detailed with ruffles and bows when paired with pants and sheer when placed under slip dresses. Leather pieces, see-through gowns, and deep v-neck frocks brought some edge to the safe collection. Almost every model carried a bag, varying in shapes and sizes, yet all practical and outfitted with metal details. Mulberry’s ready-to-wear line is sensationally that: completely, enjoyably ready-to-wear.
