NEW YORK ACADEMY OF ART + SOTHEBY’S “TAKE HOME A NUDE” AUCTION 2018

New York Academy of Art presents it’s 27th annual “Take Home a Nude” benefit auction and event on October 9th. Featuring over 150 unique works of art, all proceeds will go to the New York Academy of Art scholarships and programming initiatives. The auction will feature works by artists Herb Ritts, Jessica Craig Martin, Francesca DiMattio, Eric Fischl, Damian Loeb, Jean Pigozzi, Mark Tansey, Rob Wynne, Rebecca Leveille, Sante D’Orazio, as well as The Untitled Magazine’s editor-in-chief, Indira Cesarine among many others. The celebrated fundraising event will be chaired by Alexander Gilkes, Princess Alexandra of Greece and Denmark, actor Liev Schreiber, art collector Adam Lindemann, and MinnieMuse founder Colby Mugrabi. This year, the annual auction celebrates the muses that inspired some of the artists’ works, including Helena Christensen, Brooke Shields and Jerry Hall.
