New York Fashion Week (NYFW) is set to dazzle once again this February 2025, with an exciting line-up of runway shows, designer presentations, and events. Presented by the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), the February 2025 edition will span from February 6 to February 11, bringing over 52 runway shows and presentations to the global fashion stage.
The official schedule kicks off on Thursday, February 6, with Brandon Maxwell, a staple in American fashion, unveiling his fall/winter collection. The week will wrap up on Tuesday, February 11, with CFDA Chairman Thom Browne closing the season in his signature avant-garde style. Between these dates, attendees can expect an impressive array of established names, emerging designers, and some exciting first-time participants.
Returning to the NYFW stage are several renowned labels, including Carolina Herrera, Christian Siriano, Coach, Tory Burch, Monse, and Khaite, alongside innovative newcomers like Fforme, Lapointe, and Veronica Leoni’s debut collection for Calvin Klein. First-time shows will include Alexis Bittar, Zoe Gustavia Anna Whalen, and LEBLANCSTUDIOS, adding fresh perspectives to the fashion week scene.
The CFDA’s efforts to bridge global connections are highlighted by the CFDA NYFW Travel Fund, which continues to support international press and media to raise awareness of the cultural, artistic, and economic impact of NYFW. This season, themes of calibration and innovation will dominate the runway, reflecting the industry’s resilience and forward-thinking approach.
In addition to the live shows, there will be digital presentations and appointments, allowing for a broader global reach. One special event to watch for is the GQ Bowl in New Orleans, where GQ and Emily Adams Bode Aujla will showcase the Bode Rec. Spring 2025 collection alongside a musical performance, blending fashion and entertainment seamlessly.
“NYFW serves as the premier opportunity for designers and brands to tell their story and share their work in the ways that speak to their communities and business needs. This upcoming season represents themes we see across the industry: calibration and innovation,” Joseph Maglieri, CFDA’s Director of Fashion Week Initiatives, said. “It reminds us of the importance of brand sovereignty and stamina, and the significance of remaining authentic to where they are now in order to plan for where they want to be in the future.”
NYFW remains the pinnacle of American fashion, providing designers a platform to express their artistic vision while navigating the ever-evolving landscape of the fashion industry. Whether you’re a designer, press member, or fashion enthusiast, this upcoming season promises to be an unforgettable celebration of creativity, innovation, and style.
