“NORMAN REEDUS: IN TRANSIT” SOLO EXHIBIT AND BOOK LAUNCH CAPTIVATES NYC WITH STAR-STUDDED EVENING AT THE SOHO GRAND HOTEL

The Gallery at Soho Grand in New York City hosted Norman Reedus’ latest photography exhibition and book launch, “Norman Reedus: In Transit.” The star-studded affair, which took place on February 26, 2025, drew an elite crowd of celebrities and art enthusiasts to the chic hotel, which was followed by an after-party in the Club Room. 

Norman Reedus, known for his role in “The Walking Dead” showcased a collection of hauntingly beautiful images that capture the raw, edgy essence of downtown New York City. The exhibition emphasizes the passage of time and the ephemeral nature of beauty, featuring unconventional subjects, urban landscapes, and candid moments that exude mystery and grit.

The after-party for Norman Reedus’ “In Transit” exhibition was a glittering celebration that embodied New York’s nightlife. A star-studded lineup of guests filled the event, including the enigmatic Orville Peck, punk legend Debbie Harry, supermodel Helena Christensen, actor Dean Winters, reality TV personality Kelly Bensimon, nightlife icon Dianne Brill, musician Jihae, and Reedus’ The Walking Dead co-star Jeffrey Dean Morgan. As attendees admired Reedus’ evocative photography, they sipped custom-crafted Hendrick’s cocktails, while the vibrant sounds of Miss Guy set the mood.  

As the evening unfolded, the party slipped into a more intimate and mysterious setting behind velvet curtains in the Club Room. There, guests were immersed in a world of eclectic entertainment, from the hypnotic beats of DJ Aku to daring sword swallowing acts and captivating tarot readings. With support from Hendrick’s Gin and Bailey Hats, the night’s underground energy created an unforgettable, only-in-New-York experience—one that perfectly complemented the raw, unfiltered essence of Reedus’ artistic vision.

“In Transit” Limited Edition Book

Alongside the exhibition, Reedus is releasing a new deluxe limited edition photography book, also titled In Transit. The book showcases over 100 photographs from the 1990s to today, providing a visual exploration of Reedus’ life and artistic perspective. Exclusive signed bookplates and bonus Polaroids are available exclusively at the Soho Grand Gallery.

“In Transit” will be on view at The Gallery at Soho Grand from January 31 to May 18, 2025. The gallery is open to the public Wednesday to Sunday, from 12 PM to 6 PM. This exhibition offers a rare chance to experience Reedus’ personal journey through time, memory, and motion, captured through his distinctive photographic approach.

Norman Reedus is a multifaceted artist with a career that spans acting, directing, photography, and writing. His photographic work has been displayed in cities worldwide, such as Barcelona, Paris, Los Angeles, Copenhagen, Hamburg, Miami, and New York City. Reedus recently wrapped up two solo exhibitions in Tokyo and is currently starring in the second season of “The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon” on AMC, and is slated to return as Daryl Dixon in the third season of which is expected to premiere on AMC in 2025.
