Famed fashion house Oscar de la Renta is once again teaming up with The Outnet for a second collaborative clothing collection. Celebrated for his award-winning red carpet gowns and haute couture evening wear, De la Renta’s collection is often out of price range for fashion lovers without an Academy Award-nominee budget. However, this collaborative, exclusive line is anticipated to derive from the same factory as his main line, using the fabrics and patterns from his main collection while wearing a fraction of the price tag. The twenty-piece collection consists of silk articles, floral prints, embellishments, polka dots and striped patterns, with prices ranging from $325 for a tank top to $1,095 for a floor-length dress. The collection goes on sale on The Outnet’s website on December 17th and buyers should have their online shopping skills ready to fire – the first twenty-four-piece collection sold out in minutes on its initial launch date of February 26th earlier this year.

Fronted by Russian beauty Miroslava Duma (fashion icon and owner of buro247.com) as the face of the line, the collection exudes a First Lady-like, feminine and effortlessly elegant vibe. The pint-sized editor was selected for her glamorous aesthetic and her well-known fashion industry dominance, flanked by her clique of fashionistas also known as the ‘Russian mafia’.

With slightly affordable pricing on the table, owning an Oscar De la Renta piece is every fashion lover’s covet. The award-winning designer has dressed many leading figures through the years, from film stars to royalties. This second collection is regarded as potentially more lucrative than the first, foremost due to Duma’s presence. The collection release will coincide with the showcasing of De La Renta’s Spring 2014 runway attire.
