PATRICK MOHR – BERLIN SPRING SUMMER 2013 FASHION FILM

PATRICK MOHR’S FASHION FILM, METAMOHRPHASIS

July 6, 2012

A fashion-hungry crowd grew outside the Kino Babylon Cinema in Mitte, eager to view Patrick Mohr’s film of his latest collection, METAMOHRPHASIS. Ten models stood on the stage in the unisex collection of cotton, wool, leather and denim. Triangles were the dominant motif throughout the tops and shorts in faded neon pinks and blues. Once the models walked off stage, the film premiere began. The film, directed by Hakan Can, starred German actor Wilson Gonzalez Ochsenknecht, select model, and for a fleeting moment, even the designer himself. Mohr’s creations are said to be sophisticated streetwear with subtle sportiness and modern avant-garde.

Mohr studied at ESMOD Paris and founded the label in 2008. In the same year he won the “Prix Createur” for the best collection and afterward worked for Henrik Vibskov in Copenhagen.

When looking back at his previous collection since 2008, the so called enfant terribles of the Berlin fashion has been re-inventing himself and continually growing as a designer.  Patrick Mohr also had a stall set up at Bread and Butter Berlin where he offered a closer look at the collection and his new range of handbags.
