Peachoo+Krejberg’s focus for spring/summer 2013 Paris fashion week was gothic and mysterious juxtaposed with a minimalistic aesthetic. Highlights from the show included a white sleeveless dress with a silver, skeletal chest plate. The collection featured gothic / medieval inspired pieces with a strong emphasis on textures such as lace and detailed beading mixed with leather. Peachoo Datwani and Roy Krejberg launched their brand in 2004. They like to mix references, styles and codes. They have an architectural approach to the construction of clothes. Traditional couture techniques are combined with sharp cutting to obtain a very personal style built-up of contrasting volumes and proportions. The interplay of shape and fabric, technology combined with ancient handcrafted skills are instrinsic values, common to all their collections.
