Last night, Hollywood’s biggest stars hit the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles for the 24th annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards, a ceremony industry insiders consider a predictive pre-cursor to the Oscars, set to air on March 4th. Though some actors stuck to Golden Globes’ black dress code in support of Time’s Up, most opted for colorful, glittering gowns. Read on for our favorite red carpet looks.

Tracee Ellis Ross

Star of “Black-ish,” one of the shows nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series, Tracee Ellis Ross glowed in a white Ralph & Russo gown with matching Christian Louboutin pumps. Ross was included in the all-female cast of celebrities highlighted in SAG’s famous “I Am an Actor” introduction: “When I was a little girl, I dreamt of growing up and being a courageous woman who could use my voice for important issues that affect all of us…and have a lot of shoes. I am happy to report that both are true. I utilize my agency and my voice for equity and justice in our industry and beyond…I am Tracee Ellis Ross, and I am an actor,” she said.

Millie Bobby Brown

“Stranger Things” prodigy Millie Bobby Brown, nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series, sparkled in a sequined Calvin Klein dress. She put a youthful twist on the sophisticated dress by pairing it with Converse sneakers.

Mary J. Blige

Mary J. Blige was recently awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Transcending music industry fame, her role in “Mudbound” garnered her a SAG nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture. The singer-turned-actor made a statement in a sculptural gown by Lebanese designer Jean-Louis Sabaji.

Allison Williams

Allison Williams of “Get Out,” nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture, also opted for Ralph & Russo. Her intricate, beaded gown featured layers of sparkling fringe. She showed support for Time’s Up with one of the organization’s pin affixed to her clutch.

Leslie Mann

Leslie Mann popped in a richly-hued blue gown with beaded accents by Zuhair Murad. She took the stage later that night with Molly Shannon as a presenter.
