Rihanna is the new face of Balmain‘s Spring Summer 2014 Campaign photographed by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. Her loose curls, tattoos and bad girl appeal is the perfect match for Balmain’s new collection.

Rihanna is the “icon” of this generation with her signature tattoos, riveting gaze and uncompromising, fresh attitude. It is unmistakable to choose her as the face for the French brand. The star has fronted campaigns in the past such as Armani Jeans and her own line, Rihanna for River Island.  For Rousteing, Rihanna was not just a model for the brand – he chose her for her power, the way she embodies the brand and pushes the boundaries on everything. The campaign will debut in January 2014.
