RUNWAY FOR A CAUSE: STARS AND PUPS UNITE AT THE ANNUAL RESCUE DOGS ROCK CHARITY FASHION SHOW
On March 10, 2025, the iconic Victorian mansion Ideal Glass Studios in New York City hosted one of the most heartwarming events of the year: the Rescue Dogs Rock NYC Annual Charity Fashion Show. This extraordinary evening brought together 30 high-profile personalities from various fields, including supermodels, designers, and celebrities, who walked the runway hand-in-paw with dogs rescued from abuse and neglect by Rescue Dogs Rock (RDR).

The event was a visual spectacle, with models showcasing Parisian lingerie and the dogs sporting their own luxurious couture, proving that rescue pups can shine just as brightly as their human counterparts. Attendees received LED dog ears and glow sticks in their gift bags, ensuring the celebration continued with a high-energy dance party after the runway show. Dancers from the Martha Graham Dance Company performed alongside pups dressed in elegant tutus, while a celebrity artist created live sketches of the event, and DJ Reach set the mood with an electrifying soundtrack.

A dazzling lineup of VIP walkers will bring their star power to the event, including Frederique van der Wal (Victoria’s Secret supermodel) & daughter Scyler, Miss USA N.C. Gabby Ortega, Orfeh (multiple Tony & Grammy Nominated Broadway star) former Miss USA N.Y. Stephanie Chernick, Amir Arison ( Star of “BLACKLIST” & Apple TV “Dope Thief” ), Catherine and Gabriella Vigorito from the hit show “sMothered”, Matt Sarafa (Project Runway winner), Anna Rothschild (celebrity publicist), Jonn Nubian (YRB Magazine founder), Indira Cesarine (The Untitled Magazine founder), Tinu Naija (founder “Shoeholics” Magazine), Rebecca Herero (Art Bodega Magazine founder), Victor De Souza (renowned designer), Laura Geller (cosmetics mogul), Chrissy Monroe ( VH1 Love & Hip Hop), Supermodel Alex Lundqvist and his wife, Rebecca Herero (“Art Bodega Magazine” founder), Lara Eurdolian ( On Air Talent author of Charlie at the Pom Springs Hotel), Socialite Luisa Diaz (founder of the Mag Gala), Charlii (TV host from Styleculture.TV), Jennifer Anne DiLandro (Cats & Pudding podcast).

One of the most memorable moments featured celebrity bodyguard “The Fancy Giant” walking with a 2.5 lb rescue pup, showcasing a heartwarming contrast in fashion. SPOT, the mobile robot dog from Boston Dynamics, also starred on the runway, lending its talents to promote animal rescue. The event was a testament to the organization’s commitment to saving critically injured and abandoned dogs, having rescued over 9,700 dogs and spent more than $15 million on their care.
