For fall 2016, The Blonds runway, set on February 17 at Milk Studios, carried it’s usual aggressive glitz and glam, with a focus on girly pink hues, sparkly details, and fishnet stockings. Designer Phillipe Blond and creative director David Blond, created looks that were completed with pink wigs, black chokers, and lots of glitz. Off the shoulder, oversize sweaters and sweatshirts were tamer looks, while leotards covered in glittery flowers and reminiscent to a figure skater’s costume, were more aggressive. Many of the looks were paired with gloves, had structured ruffles, and were complimented by big bows. For The Blonds, it was a season fit for a Miley Cyrus concert, the more over-the-top and risqué, the better.
