With design houses’ spring 2018 advertising campaigns hitting magazines both in print and online, we’ve compiled a list of the faces of the upcoming season, from Selena Gomez for Coach to Naomi Campbell for Versace. Read on for the best star-studded spring 2018 campaigns and their photographers.
Sasha Pivovarova for Dior
Model, mother and artist Sasha Pivovarova fronts Dior‘s most recent campaign, shot by Patrick Demarchelier. The cheeky images have Pivovarova in creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri’s latest creations, including a shirt emblazoned with feminist art historian Linda Nochlin’s essay title “Why have there been no great female artists,” while posing with her own artwork.
Selena Gomez for Coach
Lensed by the legendary Steven Meisel, Coach‘s latest campaign features pop-star Selena Gomez against a dreamy sunset view of New York City’s Empire State Building with styling courtesy of Karl Templer and makeup by fashion favorite Pat McGrath. Gomez starred in last season’s Coach campaign as well, and has rocked the label at recent red carpet appearances including the 2017 Fashion Awards.
Naomi Campbell, Christy Turlington, Gisele Bündchen & Kaia Gerber for Versace
In addition to Coach, Steven Meisel also shot Versace‘s spring 2018 campaign. This season, the Italian design house (which is set to be the subject of the much-anticipated FX anthology “The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story”) pays tribute to the 90s and early 2000s with supermodels Naomi Campbell, Christy Turlington and Gisele Bündchen. Despite the campaign’s old-school feel, it also looks to the future with Kaia Gerber, daughter of fellow supermodel Cindy Crawford.
Gigi Hadid for Valentino
Creative duo Inez and Vinoodh teamed up to shoot Valentino‘s latest campaign starring Gigi Hadid. The images are a high-fashion departure from Hadid’s typical commercial-leaning work including collaborations with Tommy Hilfiger and of course, her runway work at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
Binx Walton, Cara Taylor & Vittoria Ceretti for Alberta Ferretti
Alberta Ferretti tapped runway darlings Binx Walton, Cara Taylor and Vittoria Ceretti to star in her label’s new campaign shot by Mario Sorrenti. All three boast a huge social media following (Taylor was even scouted through Instagram) and bring a 21st-century edge to the established brand.
Mariacarla Boscono for Proenza Schouler
Italian model Mariacarla Boscono fronts Proenza Schouler‘s first campaign since relocating from New York City to Paris. London-born photographer and filmmaker Tyrone Lebon shoots Boscono against a gritty, minimalist set wearing the label’s accessories, intimates and separates. Designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez have announced that more images from the campaign will be released in coordination with key product drops from the spring 2018 collection.
