Tribeca Ball to Benefit the New York Academy of Art

The New York Academy of Art will host its annual fundraiser, the Tribeca Ball, on April 9th. With notable event chairs including Mary-Kate Olsen and Naomi Watts, the event is sure to be star studded. This year’s Ball, celestial-themed, honors Mickalene Thomas, a New York-based artist known for her elaborate paintings exploring race, sexuality and gender.
Prior to the night of the Tribeca Ball, nearly 80 works by New York Academy of Art students will be available for auction and buy-it-now purchase on Paddle8. Last year, the event raised over $860,000—the school aims to beat that number in 2018!
