New York Men’s Day (NYMD) has kicked off New York Fashion Week 2025 with a showcase of emerging menswear talent, featuring shows running in the morning and afternoon. This season welcomes back one returning designer while introducing five new designers making their NYMD debut. Continuing their support, Sperry, the heritage footwear brand famed for inventing the boat shoe in 1935, returns as a sponsor. Luxury hair care brand Oribe Hair Care and Augment also provided hair and makeup products and teams for the designers’ presentations.

HOLD NYC
Former Ralph Lauren designer and founder of HOLD NYC Holden Akerley has debuted at New York Men’s Day with his Fall/Winter 2025 Collection. Akerley taps into a sense of “cool, optimistic nostalgia,” envisioning a getaway to a cozy chalet perfect for ski activities. This collection is inspired by the exhilarating feeling of unwinding after high-energy moments, and focuses on comfort and style. HOLD NYC’s Fall/Winter 2025 Collection embraces the alpine charm and playful energy of a day away at a chalet and captures flirty glances with a touch of bold glamor.

Sivan
Designer Jack Sivan has returned to New York Men’s Day with a collection that blends refined sophistication with a nod to old-school New York 50s style. Much of his work is inspired by “traditional tailoring.” Currently available for online purchase with the focus being custom pieces, the brand is set to launch a pop-up this fall. After showcasing three collections at NYFW, Sivan has expanded into a ready-to-wear business model, now available online and in select stores.

A.Potts
A.Potts, founded in 2018 by Aaron Potts, is all about embracing creativity and usefulness. Potts brought his genderless collection to the event, celebrating his passion for beauty that connects and brings people of all races, gender expressions, and ages together. Each look has remnants of black panthers and spotted leopards and is inspired by progress and modernist art.

Joseph McRae
Joseph McRae debuts at New York Men’s Day with a collection all about self-discovery and reinvention. Warm, earthy hues intertwine with striking accents, highlighting the interplay of stability and growth in each piece. McRae’s genderless collection has an empowering message of purpose and the importance of claiming your space, voice, and future anywhere you go.

Peak Lapel
Peak Lapel, founded by Jack Milkes and Brenna Gentner in 2024, first showed their debut collection during the last New York Fashion Week at the “Peak Lapel Show.” Now the brand is making their first appearance at New York Men’s Day. Their collection is inspired by the comforting warmth and nostalgia of returning home for the holidays, capturing that familiar feeling in every piece.

Max Esmail
Designer Maxwell Amadeus Kamal Coombs Esmail makes his first appearance at New York Men’s Day with his collection “55 Bond St.” It is inspired by modernist principles, blending natural elements with industrial materials. This collection merges comfort with a sleek minimalistic aesthetic, incorporating leather, marble, and tubular steel to honor modernist icons like Breuer and Mies van der Rohe.
