TOM FORD DESIGNS FOR JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE’S 20/20 EXPERIENCE WORLD TOUR + TOUR DATES

Tom Ford, who has dressed the ‘Suit & Tie’ singer since 2011, has created more than 600 exclusive pieces for the his 20/20 tour. This includes Timberlake’s eight custom-made outfits, along with original pieces for his band members, vocalists and dancers to wear. Never mind the heap of distinct accessories to pair along with all the debonair attire. Again, this is over 600 pieces, just let that marinate for a second. Tom Ford who has dressed Timberlake for his ‘Suit & Tie’ video, 20/20 Experience album artwork, several of his public recent appearances (2013 Grammy Awards, Brit Awards, and BET Awards) as well as his wedding attire for his union with Jessica Biel.

“Justin has great personal style and knows what he wants, which makes designing for him an absolute pleasure,” said Ford in a statement. “He is a tremendous talent and has a kind of effortless cool that makes classic menswear tailoring modern.”

His 20/20 Experience World Tour kicked off in Brooklyn, NY this past November 6th and received phenomenal reception for its stage presence and visuals at the Barclays Center. The tour is currently scheduled for sixty-nine dates across North America and Europe. Wrapping up on July 26, 2014 in Montreal, Quebec.

This trend of artists working closely with designers has opened the doors for large scale and official collaborations between talents. Honestly, it’s not a rookie concept at all. Kanye West has collaborated with Maison Martin Margiela for his ‘Yeezus Tour’ as Calvin Klein did with Drake. A rep from Tom Ford cleared the statement of this being the designer’s first ultimate tour collection with any artist. Frankly who wouldn’t want to band together with Timberlake’s incredible innate style and enormous talent.
