Last night, designers, models, actors, musicians and socialites hit the red carpet for the British Fashion Council’s 2017 Fashion Awards. The ceremony, which has been a much buzzed-about entry on the fashion calendar since 1986, was held at the Royal Albert Hall in London. Hosted by Swarovski, the soiree saw scores of unconventionally glamorous—think suiting, fur and capes—yet fashion-forward looks fitting for one of fashion’s biggest events of the year. See our picks of best-dressed stars below!

Adwoa Aboah in Halpern & Burberry

British stunner and Gurls Talk founder Adwoa Aboah won Model of the Year at last night’s ceremony, beating out fellow nominees Gigi Hadid, Kaia Gerber and Winnie Harlow. She glittered in a Halpern Studio minidress and fur cape by Burberry.

Selena Gomez in Coach

Popstar-turned-fashion-favorite Selena Gomez repped Coach (creative director Stuart Vevers tapped the singer to star in the brand’s campaign earlier this year) in a modern update on the ruffled Edwardian dress.

Erykah Badu in Gucci

Singer Erykah Badu made a statement in skins by layering a vinyl fur-tripped coat over a snake-print jumpsuit by Gucci. During the ceremony, Badu presented Adwoa Aboah with the Model of the Year award.

Agyness Deyn in Burberry

Model Agyness Deyn took a tailored approach to red carpet dressing in this plaid suit by Burberry.

Giovanna Battaglia Engelbert in Richard Quinn

W Magazine Contributing Fashion Editor Giovanna Battaglia Engelberg took a fashion risk that paid off in this oversized floral print by Richard Quinn and mismatched suede pumps.
