VERSACE – HAUTE COUTURE
The Versace Haute Couture collection was showcased suitably at the Ritz Hotel in Paris, the location of Gianni Versace’s last show before his death. Short mini dresses and floor length gowns flounced down the runway. Dresses drew the lines of the upper body in hi-tech Japanese polyester. Voluminous skirts in some dresses blended softly with crystal beaded chiffon and leather corsets. Accessories consisted of ring belts and leather striped stiletto boots, adding a sparkle of magic to the ensembles.
