Shortly after presenting their Vincent Van Gogh-inspired Spring/Summer 2015 Haut Couture collection, Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren of Viktor & Rolf have announced plans to end their ready-to-wear business after the Fall 2015 season ends. The Dutch design duo will present one last womenswear collection, but are opting out of Paris Fashion Week. This will also be their final ready-to-wear collection sold in stores.
Viktor & Rolf report they are shifting focus to their couture business, fragrance and licensing deals. In a similar manner, last season, Jean Paul Gaultier halted his ready-to-wear to concentrate on his couture. The Viktor & Rolf flagship store on Rue Saint Honoré is expected to go dark in early 2016.
