Since news hit that a sequel to Zoolander was on it’s way, movie fans and fashion gurus alike have been awaiting it’s release. In March 2015, appetites for the film were satiated when characters Derek and Hansel, also known as Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson closed out the Valentino Spring/Summer 2016 fashion show during Paris fashion week. Though that could have been enough of the dramatic, model duo until the film’s February 12th release, they returned at the New York premiere to walk the runway once again.
On Monday, February 8th the awaited sequel premiered at the old stomping ground for New York Fashion Week: the one and only Lincoln Center. The star-studded audience was in for a treat. Alongside the movie premiere was a runway walked by Stiller, Wilson, Penélope Cruz and Will Ferrell, all of whom were in character. Justin Theroux, screenwriter and actor in Zoolander 2, also made his way down the runway dressed as the Evil DJ. On the the way back to down, he stepped into the DJ booth, taking over from the celebrity DJ at the event, Skrillex.

No movie premiere turned fashion show is complete with out some model It girls present and Zoolander 2 didn’t disappoint. Wearing spring 2016 looks by Marc Jacobs, Alexander Wang, Tommy Hilfiger and Valentino, were Stalla Maxwell and Gigi Hadid. These ladies shared in the movie meets fashion festivities and looked amazing while doing so.

Zoolander 2, directed by Stiller, hits theaters on February 12. The cast also stars Kristen Wiig and Kyle Mooney and hosts cameos from Justin Bieber, Anna Wintour, Karlie Kloss and Cara Delevingne.
