TRIBECA BALL 2019 TO HONOR ARTIST KAWS WITH CO-CHAIR SWIZZ BEATZ

Artist Camilla Marie Dahl

Tribeca Ball 2019
Monday, April 8, 2019
NY ACADEMY OF ART
111 Franklin St. NYC

The Tribeca Ball is a yearly social event that unites artists, art lovers, patrons, and movie stars in the name of art-fundraising efforts. Each year the Tribeca Ball’s co-chairs invite notable names in media, fashion, and art for a glam commemoration of a single artist (past celeb attendees include Naomi Watts and Brooke Shields). Deemed the “downtown social event of the season”, the fête starts with a cocktail hour, NYAA students welcoming viewers into their studios where they can collect their latest works; followed by a high-end dinner in the famous “Cast Hall” in the Franklin Building of the New York Academy of Art.

Last year, the event raised over $825,000 to support the Academy’s scholarships and public programming. The Tribeca Ball in 2019 will be hosted by Van Cleef and Arpels to benefit the New York Academy of Art, taking place at their usual location – the Franklin Building in NYC. New York Academy of Art students are featured in a preview and sale of works on Paddle8 (live now) and will be featured at the Tribeca Ball on April 8. This year, the ball will honor artist KAWS with Event Chairs Swizz Beatz, Helen King, and Per Skarstedt.
