The keenly anticipated Young Fellows Ball, now in its fifteenth year, will be held in The Frick Collection’s Fifth Avenue beaux arts mansion on March 13th. This year’s event takes its theme, Celestial Ball, from the current special exhibition Renaissance and Baroque Bronzes from the Hill Collection and from the Frick’s collection of bronzes, many of which depict celestial and mythological themes. The Frick Collection is grateful to PAULE KA for its generous sponsorship of the 2014 Young Fellows Ball.
The ball is attended each year by approximately 600 of New York City’s most socially prominent young individuals. Guests enjoy the ambiance of the former Frick family residence, which serves as an elegant backdrop for the museum’s permanent collection of Old Master paintings, sculpture, and decorative arts. Proceeds from the event provide essential support for the Frick Art Reference Library and for the museum’s education program, which serves New York City public schools in all five boroughs.
The true spirit of the gala comes from the commitment and involvement of the members of the Frick’s Young Fellows Steering Committee and the event’s Chairmen, all prominent corporate, cultural, and social figures—a prestigious ”Who’s Who” of young New York Society.
