Spring Has Sprung! And the flowers can be found at THE NEW MUSEUM STORE (235 Bowery, NYC)
The ever-blossoming, flower-themed videos Pink Narcissus and Floralwall are now available as limited edition digital art packages in the New Museum bookstore.
These high-quality HD movies are delivered on a portable USB flash drive and hand-packaged in a custom windowed steel box, along with a signed and numbered Certificate of Authenticity, and a small signed archival print (digitally printed on museum edition matte etching rag).
The USB drive is ready to plug-n-play on either a Mac or PC computer, an external media player such as GoogleTV or LaCie Cinema, and even many flatscreen TVs with a built-in USB display port. In addition, you can copy the movies to your own computer for easy back-up and portability.
Sean Capone is a NYC-based artist working primarily in the mediums of video, animation, and photography. He is known for his large-scale digital projections on architectural spaces and facades, transforming the built environment with moving image compositions that blur the line between painterly pattern-and-decoration, visual f/x, and cinematic/media perceptions of space.
“Contemporary life inhabits the space of the screen. Whether projected or transmitted, video is no longer a surface to be viewed, but an environment to be occupied.”
The artists video art productions have been featured in the Voyeur and Voyage Issues of XXXX Magazine & The Untitled Magazine, as well as exhibited at the VOYEUR Art Basel Miami XXXX Magazine Exhibit.
