Pride month is here and events will be happening all around New York City. NYC pride’s theme is “Unapologetically Us,” celebrating and supporting every LGBTQIA+ individual’s story. The NYC pride organization will be hosting events from June 21-26. Events will vary from open to the public, registration only, and parties and performances with tickets for purchase. There will be celebrations for all age ranges; from family movie nights to midnight rooftop parties. Other organizations will also be throwing events throughout the month of June.

LADYLAND FESTIVAL
When: Friday, June 17, 8 PM
Where: Avant Gardner, 140 Stewart Ave, Brooklyn

LadyLand is an outdoor queer music festival that will celebrate queer talent & gay icons. LadyLand is a festival for everyone and all are welcome with open arms. DJ Honey Dijon and singer Tinashe will headline the festival, alongside Sevdaliza, Shygirl, Ariel Zatina and more.
THE BRUNCH
When: Sunday, June 19, 12 PM
Where: 74 Wythe Ave, Brooklyn

The culinary experience will be hosted by and curated in partnership with Chef Sicily Sierra. This event will celebrate local business leaders and their impact on queer communities. The events goal is to honor Juneteenth and highlight folx succeeding in their sectors. The immersive experience will feature an awards ceremony, performances and open bar/cocktail stations.
THE OUTCYCLING PRIDE RIDE 2022
When: Sunday, June 19
Where: Participants will be able to ride on the roads of NY and NJ, routes will be available at 30, 50, 65, 80 or 100 miles. Bikers will also be able to plot their own route anywhere in the world, wear their swag with Pride outfits, and tag The Outcycling Pride Ride 2022 on social media.

A portion of proceeds collected from registrations will go towards OutCycling’s Youth Cycling Program, the Fearless Flyers. The program teaches youth ages 16 – 25 cycling, leadership skills while providing program graduates with a free bike and safety equipment.
FRISKY-WONDERFUL WORLD
When: Friday, June 24, 12 AM
Where: The meadow, 17 Meadow ST Meserole St. Brooklyn

The event will serve as the opening Party for Pride week, celebrating the movement and honoring those who fought for LGBTQ+ rights. Featuring Brazilian DJ’s, Filipe Guerra and Rafael Barreto, plus an exclusive performance by Grag Queen, winner of Queen of the universe. The venue has a renovated interior and a new lightning + sound system with outdoor space. This event is a JC EVENTS partnership with New York Heritage of Pride.
HESTER STREET FAIR
When: Saturday, June 25, 11:00 AM
Where: The Seaport’s Pier 17
Tickets: open to public
The fair will allow crowds to shop and engage with LGBTQIA+ vendors and special programmers. Music and entertainment will be brought to you by: Flattops, Dylan Sparkle, Ginger Ladd, Bill Coleman. From 4-6pm Dave’s Lesbian Bar will make a special appearance to share information on how to help them fund the only lesbian bar in Queens. NYC’s Pride Organization and MadeinNYC will be bringing information on how to get involved. Businesses that will be present include Bodega Cat Vintage, Preppy Trendy, Queer Candle, Sweet and Salty Queens, The Little Gay Shop and more.
YOUTH PRIDE
When: Saturday, June 25, 1:00 PM
Where: Rumsey Playfield at Central Park
Tickets: free event registration required
The event will headline singer Taylor Bennett along with co-hosts multidisciplinary trans creator Ezra Michel and TV host + influencer Ruba Wilson. Other featured performances and appearances include members of the cast of TREVOR the musical, Noa Kirel, Grag Queen, Lolita Leopard and more. This event is a partnership with founding sponsor Target, It Gets Better, and GLSEN.
DYKE MARCH
When: Saturday, June 25, 5:00 PM
Where: The march will start at Bryant Park
Tickets: open to public
The March is a demonstration of First Amendment rights to protest. The event happens without any sponsorship as a protest of the discrimination, harassment, and violence community members face. Any person who identifies with the message is welcome to march.
PRIDE ISLAND
When: Saturday and Sunday, June 25-26, Doors will open at 2:00 PM on both days
Where: Play Lawn on Governors island. The Battery Maritime Building at 10 South Street in Lower Manhattan will serve as the primary entry point. Ferries will be operated by The Trust for Governors Island.

The two-day music festival will include performances by Lil’ Kim, Shenseea, Netta, Raye and Papi Juice on Saturday June 25th. On June 26 headliner and pop sensation Kim Petras will take the stage.
BLISS DAYS
When: Sunday, June 26, 2:00 PM
Where: Harbor Rooftop
Tickets: 21+ purchase only
The party will celebrate Womxn in the LGBTQ+ community featuring DJ Spinelli, Tru Violet, Boston Cherry, and Rhonda Rox. Pop up performances and special guest appearances will also fill the day with surprises.
THE MARCH
When: Sunday, June 26th, 12:00 PM
Where: The march will start from 25th Street and 5th Avenue. Marchers will then go south on 5th Avenue, then head west on 8th Street. After 6th Avenue, the March will continue on Christopher Street, then turn north on 7th Avenue, ending on 16th Street and 7th Avenue.

The historically iconic event, which started in 1970, will run trough main streets f New York city and pass monuments like the Stonewall National Monument and the New York City AIDS Memorial. The march will also be broadcasted, co-hosted by Angelica Ross, Ken Rosato, Lauren Glassberg and Sam Champion. The broadcast will feature live performances and on-air interviews on ABC-7, Apple TV and Amazon fire TV from 12-3 PM ET on Sunday, June 26.
